FatherWillisOrgan: About
The organ is a two manual and pedals instrument located in a specially built organ chamber on the north side of the chancel.

Father Willis is renowned for the quality of his pipework voicings, and this instrument is no exception: Despite being in need of a thorough clean and overhaul, the pipes produce magical sounds which cannot be matched by any of the other instruments in the area.

Once restored to it’s original condition, we will all be able to hear the full glory of Father Willis’s craftmanship.

A Heritage Lottery Fund grant application is currently under way, which we are hoping to have it completed soon, to provide the money to restore this wonderful instrument.

The instrument is maintained by the Lincoln Organ Builders Aistrup & Hind
